Pest Management is a disinfestation procedure taken up by the professional pest control operators after understanding the following points viz biology of the pest that are to be controlled, their environment and habitats, level of infestation, level of damage caused, economic loss to client, understanding the premises to be treated, choose the appropriate equipment, safe but effective chemicals, treatment procedures with due consideration of the environment, health and safety aspects. In view of the health hazards associated with the improper use of certain chemicals by the operators, the Government of India has imposed some rules and regulations to ensure that such chemicals are handled and used as per prescribed schedule of treatment with safety precautions; the Government of India has introduced regulation for recognizing pest control operators, agencies and organizations.
- Prior to disinfestation of the premises the pest control operator must
- Be aware for which party SVPC&F is intervening with the relevant details.
- Familiarize themselves with the contractual clauses affecting their work (Dosage, Scope of work, etc.)
- Take the necessary safety measures and precautions during the operations.
- Keep the commercial division posted of relevant details and inform the executive, in-charge of possible abnormalities.
- Give feedback to the back office post treatment.
